ANDOVER – Recognized as one of the busiest locations within the Kansas Department of Vehicles, the Andover customer service office is now offering Saturday hours. In addition to the Olathe, Mission, Topeka, Wichita, and Derby locations, the Andover offices will be open 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturdays and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
“Our customers have been asking for the division to give them the ability to get their driver’s license on a Saturday when they do not have to take off work or school,” said Director of Vehicles Lisa Kaspar. “We listened and hope these hours will make coming in to get a driver’s license a little easier.”
To accommodate the Saturday hours, the division shifted staff from Mondays to Saturdays. The offices will now be closed on Mondays. The division is also adding driver solutions desk services to the Topeka and Mission offices.
With the desk service people will be able to reinstate a suspended license, pay reinstatement fees and apply for restricted driving privileges without needing to call or visiting the office in the Docking State Office Building.
Customers can get in line for the offices before showing up in person by logging on to this website.
