Kids 4 Kids To Award Grant Money

ANDOVER – The Andover Kids 4 Kids clubs will award $10,000 in grants to five area foster care agencies Wednesday, April 27 from 2:24 to 2:50 p.m.at Andover High School. The agencies which will receive grants are Kansas Children’s Service League, St. Francis Community Services, Ember Hope, Sunlight Children’s Advocacy and Rights Foundation (SCARF), and Wichita Children’s Home.

The Kids 4 Kids organization is run by Andover students who raise funds and host events to benefit underprivileged children in our community. In the last school year, Kids 4 Kids raised money to enable at-risk children to attend summer camp, and purchased food and various items for foster care agencies.

Kids 4 Kids builds the leaders of tomorrow by teaching them to lead their peers and organize events today.

These students are on the path to lifelong giving as they see firsthand how important and worthwhile it is to help others in need.
