Do you know a family that is feeling the impact of the challenging economic conditions? Perhaps you are struggling to make ends meet. The Andover Community Food Bank is striving to help alleviate the struggle families face to feed their children, which is felt more dramatically during the summer months.

The Summer Lunch Program is open to any student in the Andover School District who needs a lunch provided during the summer months. The lunches will be distributed weekly:

  • Tuesdays (11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.) at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church
  • Wednesdays (6 – 6:30 p.m.) at Andover United Methodist Church

The lunches begin on Tuesday, May 30 and end Wednesday, Aug. 9. When the children arrive, they will need to sign in before receiving their lunches. There will be no lunches distributed on July 4, if other arrangements need to be made, please contact the Food Bank. For more information or questions, contact Mary at the Andover Community Food Bank at 316-733-1644.
