Shockers’ Bush named to basketball Honors Court

WICHITA – Zach Bush, a recent graduate from the Wichita State men’s basketball team, was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches’ 2016-17 Honors Court.

The list is comprised of junior and senior varsity players who finished the 2016-17 academic year with cumulative GPA’s of 3.20 or higher. Candidates must have completed at least one full year at their current institution.

A Wichita native who attended Goddard Eisenhower High School, Bush graduated in May with a degree in Sport Management.

The 6-foot-6 guard was part of four Missouri Valley Conference championship teams during his Shocker career. In March, he won the MVC’s Elite 18 Award, given to the championship game participant with the highest GPA.
