ROSE HILL — It was only a few short weeks ago that the Butler County Animal Response team responded to a barn fire near Douglass. As part of their mission they organized donations for a family that lost several animals in the barn fire, and several more were displaced.
Now the Butler County Animal Response team is looking for help of their own. The fundraiser on Aug 5 at Butler County Fire District No. 3 will feature dog washes and microchipping from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The money raised will go to resupply the team’s disaster trailer.
Washes will be performed for a $10 suggested donation. Dogs 12 weeks and older can be microchipped for $20 by Alex’s House Dog Rescue.
