It may be less expensive than you think to get a band instrument

When many parents think about their child learning to play an instrument, the feelings can run the gamut. First, it is a feeling of pride, then for some, it turns into, “How in the world are we going to pay for this?”

Kyle Shook is out to change this for residents of Butler County and Wichita. He sat down with us this week to talk about how his family’s business, Music Scene, is changing the game for parents who want to get their child into music.

Many times, a parent will go to the presentations made by their school’s band director, and come away thinking that they are obligated to rent or purchase an instrument from the vendors there. However, Music Scene is letting parents know that they do have a choice when it comes to their instruments.
