Meritrust groundbreaking scheduled for Friday

ANDOVER – Meritrust Credit Union will start the next phase of their service to Central Kansas as they break ground on a brand new location in Andover this Friday.

The ceremony will take place Friday, September 15 at 9:30 a.m. at the site of the new branch, located in the Andover MarketPlace at the southeast corner of Kellogg and Andover Rd. The public is invited to attend.

“We are thrilled to break ground on this new full-service branch,” says James Nastars, CEO/President. “This new branch will provide a positive banking experience for our members. We look forward to celebrating this occasion with the community.”

According to the company, there are several things to note about their upcoming plans:

  • The Meritrust branch will be one of two branches replacing an existing branch located in the One Kellogg Place shopping area. The new, member-friendly design interior creates a warm, inviting atmosphere that allows members to have a more personal service experience with their trusted Meritrust employee.
  • Andover branch construction is scheduled to be complete in spring 2018.
  • Members will find a full complement of retail, commercial lending, mortgage lending and wealth management services as well as an enhanced ITM and eATM drive-thru service at the new location.
  • The new Meritrust branch will be located at the Andover Marketplace, a 160 acre mixed-use development consisting of retail and residential property located on the southeast corner of Kellogg and Andover Road. The site includes a Dillons Marketplace and Andover’s state-of-the-art YMCA, as well as many other retail stores and restaurants. The area also experiences over 85,000 vehicles a day making it a focal point for commerce in the area.

The groundbreaking will be held in conjunction with the Andover Chamber of Commerce.
