WICHITA – The National Weather Service forecast office says the bitter temperatures are here for the next few days. Highs are not expected to surpass the freezing mark until the end of the week.
The Hazardous Weather Outlook released Tuesday morning indicates that wind chills of around zero degrees are expected to linger through late Wednesday.
The forecast office says a wintry mix could be in the cards for this weekend, as a mixture of rain and snow is a possibility Saturday night. Meteorologists say that could turn into light snow by Sunday night.
