An Indiana man was arrested on charges of child abuse and sexual assault to a 7-year-old girl who was caught by her 12-year-old brother and the suspect was shot by her brother with a metal bottle to stop the assault.
According to the court documents, the accused, who was identified as 20-year-old Patrick Comiskey Jr. fled in Gary’s home after the victim’s brother hit him in the head with a metal bottle after catching the suspect molesting his 7-year-old sister.
The 12-year-old brother was also the witness to the case where he said that he saw Patrick with his hands down his sister’s pants.
Adding to that, the court documents also say that Patrick was wrestling with his sister on a bed while they both were covered with a blanket but as the blanket fell off, the 12-year-old found Patrick molesting her sister.
The 7-year-old girl told the police that Patrick used to wrestle with her and blow on her stomach and also she said that he started molesting her two weeks before her elder brother intervened.
The boy told police that he gave Comiskey a “good clean hit” to stop him from harming his sister, court documents also detailed.
The police department has Patrick Comiskey with four counts of child molestation however, there are reports claiming that he ‘hasn’t pleaded guilty’ in Lake County Court. For now, he remains in jail without a bond.
