In these times of hardship, we should avoid going into public places and maintain social distancing norms. Just because everything is reopening up doesn’t mean that coronavirus has been eliminated. It’s still out there.

There will be no benefit of your months-long quarantine if you start hopping to public places now. The same mistake was made by a mayo clinic worker Erika Crisp, a 40-year-old health care worker from Florida.

According to her, she spent months in quarantine and followed every measure they could be done. She met no one and avoided going into public. However, her months-long precautions have gone into vain. Florida has been entering phase 2 of reopening now. In this phase, many bars and restaurants are reopened.

Just taking advantage of this, crisp along with her 15 pals went to a very popular bar. There she caught the virus. And not only her, but all her 15 friends have also tested positive too. Now she is repenting her decision.

She is saying that it might not have been the best time for her to go out. She is also advising everyone else to stay at home in order to avoid this virus. Only go out if you need to go out, don’t unnecessarily go out of the house.

She wrote on her Facebook page that “My COVID Life: Day 5 since the onset of symptoms. Since I first had a slight cough on Monday 6/8/20 that is considered my start of symptoms. Tuesday evening is when I was hit full force with aches, chills, fever, vertigo on top of fatigue & awful coughs that had progressed throughout the day. I also had/have no sense of smell & my sinuses are swollen.”

We wish that she gets recovered quickly. Till then, stay tuned with us for more such latest updates.
