A couple in Texas is arrested on the basis of murder suspicion, when under their care an 8-years-old girl suffered dehydration and died because of it.
On Monday, the Odessa Police Department said that the 44-years-old Daniel Schwarz, along with the 34-years-old Ashley Schwarz are currently facing the charges of capital murder. According to the WLTX, the duo is accused for murdering a girl named Jaylin, who according to the police was deprived of water and food, while she was forced to keep jumping on the trampoline for a long time. The girl died on August 29.
According to the autopsy reports, the cause of death was dehydration, that too in a murderous way.
The couple forced Jaylin to jump and deprived her of breakfast. They also did not gave her water because she stopped jumping.
The police statement said that, “A search warrant was later obtained and the temperature of the trampoline read to be approximately 110 degrees and the ground was approximately 150 degrees.”
According to the arrest affidavit, the duo was identified as Jaylin’s guardians, says the relatives to the KOSA.
KOSA also reported that there was another child who behaved in a disciplined manner and so they were allowed inside but Jaylin was not allowed inside.
No further details were revealed by the officials.
