On the 8th of December last year, Elliott Simon who is 28 years old, of Stanmore, admitted that he used the gun to intimidate three men in a car who were outside the Pryzm nightclub.
The court heard that the three men were pulled over on the roadside when they were confronted by Simon and another man named Raymond Celestine who is 25 years old. Celestine began shouting at them and started threatening them to rob them.
According to the police, at the point where Celestine began shouting, Simon got out of the car to calm Celestine down and pulled out a handgun and fired four shots.
According to the sources, two of the four shots were aimed at the victim’s feet and the other two struck a door as the driver fled the scene.
Simon also admitted to possessing cocaine with a handgun. He was arrested at his home. Celestine turned himself into a police officer and will serve the community for an 18-month community order.
Detective Inspector named Lewis Mortimer said that this was a terrifying incident for all three victims who were in the car as they were just making their way home after a night out and caught by Simon and Celestine with a handgun with them.
