Adam Schlesinger is known to all as co-founder and the imaginative singer-songwriter of the famous band Fountains of Wayne. He left us at the age of 52 on Wednesday. 

He was suffering from complications of the COVID-19. His lawyer Jaime Herman reported the news. According to the report of his attorney, the famous singer had been in the hospital for a week with the symptoms of COVID-19 and was on a ventilator. 

Adam Schlesinger is famous for making suburban characters shine in Fountains of Wayne songs.

He is well-known for bringing pop-rock excellence to the film “That Thing You Do!” Many celebrities tweeted and expressed their grief after receiving the death news of Schlesinger.

The family members of Adam Schlesinger also reported on Tuesday morning the singer is hospitalized with a very sick condition in New York hospital a week before.

Adam Schlesinger, an EGOT contender has also been nominated for Grammys, Emmys, Tonys, and Oscars. He also won awards of Grammys and Emmys. Schlesinger won Emmys in 2018.

The famous singer-songwriter was up for two awards for his work in Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and picked up one.  He had also won the exceptional original music and lyrics category award for the song “Antidepressants Are So Not A Big Deal”.
