The stars from Breaking Bad, Bryan Cranston, and Aaron Paul have put up their desire to be cast one last time as Walter White and Jesse Pinkman in the upcoming sixth and final season of Better Call Saul.
The show after running five seasons has now planned to wrap up with one last season i.e. the sixth season in 2021. Many actors from Breaking Bad have reprised their roles in the prequel series, but Cranston and Paul have notably been absent all the while.
Fans are expecting a lot from the last season, along with the appearance of these two characters. Both the actors are also aware of the fact that fans are desperate to have them on the sixth season of the spin-off series and they’re just as on board with the idea as they are.
Bryon and Paul came together live on Instagram for a question and answer session with their fans during which they expressed their hearty desire to be back on the show if possible.
Both were also eager to bring their fans favorite character on to the show and in a mocking and joking manner also mentioned that the show creator, Vince Gilligan don’t want them in the show anymore and even don’t care about them. They said:
“We always get asked about Better Call Saul and whether Jesse Or Walt are gonna show up on that show. I don’t know how many times we’ve gotta tell Vince that we’re ready to do it. I just don’t think he loves us anymore.”
For fans, seeing them back together in the show won’t be less than a dream come true. But showrunners Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould are very shrewd when it comes to using characters from the parent show.
So, for them, it would likely all depend on whether their appearances make sense to the story being told in the spin-off series. It has to be seen whether the two showrunners listen to their requests and bring them back on the show.
