We’re grateful that the upcoming season of “Blackish” will be the final one. Typically, you do not have control over when your show stops. This is really unusual. We wanted the concert to end on a positive note, and we were pleased with the results. It’s also fantastic because the entire ensemble is returning for one final season!
On Tuesday, January 4, at 9:30 p.m., the last season of Black-ish will premiere. Unlike prior seasons, it begins in the midst of the season rather than at the beginning. The debut episode is part of ABC’s Fall schedule, but there are plenty more to come.
Season 8 of “Black-ish” will feature Anthony Anderson, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Leslie Stevens. Dre Johnson is played by Anthony Anderson, Rainbow Johnson is played by Tracee Ellis Ross, and Peter MacKenzie is played by Leslie Stevens. Marsai Martin is also known by the stage name Diane Johnson. These individuals will all appear in the show to play various roles at home or at work, with alternate names for some characters to keep things interesting.
Michelle Obama will appear in the premiere episode of “Black-ish.” She is the show’s second politician to appear. Stacy Abrams was the first. Michelle Obama has previously served as First Lady of the United States.
There will also be Yara Shahidi, who plays Zoey Johnson on “Grown-ish.” She is currently the daughter of Dre and Bow, although she also has a role in “Grown-ish.”
“Black-ish” is a comedy series about a black family. It recounts the family’s history. Because he is rich, the father, Dre, is unsure how to interact with Black culture. Bow, his mixed wife, knows how to play multiple roles. They are attempting to raise their five children in a rapidly changing environment.
The Johnsons are the subject of this presentation. They’ve evolved through the years.
When the father’s boss joined the show, they were on the verge of divorcing. “Grown-ish,” their daughter’s sitcom, is also a hit. The family also had to cope with some contentious political matters. Season 8 will most likely be similar, with many changes for this family.
