Selena Quintanilla-Pérez was an American singer from Texas. The 23-year-old was a star climbing up the ladder of success when her manager Yolanda Saldivar shot her on March 31, 1995.
Selena and Yolanda became friends when the latter made a fan club for the Grammy winner in 1991. She was eventually hired as an assistant and later as the manager of the Selena Etc. Clothing Boutique.
Yolanda has fired afterward for misappropriating money from Selena. This may have led to resentment within Yolanda and she shot Selena at a Days Inn when the two were meeting for finalizing some monetary documents.
A nine-hour deadlock between police and Yolanda took place until she surrendered. Yolanda was sentenced to life in prison.
This coming-of-age star died on July 18, 1989, with a gunshot. The 21-year-old actress was shot at her Hollywood home by a fan named Robert John Bardo.
Before the unfortunate killing, Bardo stalked Rebecca for three consecutive years, he sent the My Sister Sam actress numerous letters and tried to meet her on the set too. When his desires went unnoticed, he hired private investigators with $250 to find Rebecca’s address and ambushed her on the visit.
Her death led to legal reforms one of which prohibits the Department of Motor Vehicles from disclosing addresses because that is where the investigator’s retrieved address from.

The friend named Cory Dennington claimed that Kevin binge-watched Grimmie’s YouTube videos an unhealthy amount, spent money on various treatments to look good for her, and got furious whenever Dennington said that Kevin’s chances with Grimmie were little to none.
After a show on June 10, Grimmie was signing autographs when Kevin showed up and shot her dead with a gun he somehow managed to bring into the building. He shot himself right after and was declared dead.
