Senate Democrats and Republicans are set to make a deal on Sunday to inject $370 billion through a loan program to small businesses. The decision came after the release of the $349 billion Paycheck Protection Program that was aimed to give forgivable loans to small businesses.

The whole US is in a shutdown situation to stop preventing the spread of coronavirus. Hence, the small businesses are in crisis i.e. run out of money.

Democrats initially were against the proposal two weeks ago and argued that more funds should be added to support the local government, hospitals, and federal testing. On Sunday night, Democrats and Republicans both agreed to help small businesses by allocating $310 billion.
