Ex-officer charged with battery after he was seen placing his knee and using his stun gun on a Florida woman in a video.

An incident happened in Miami outside a strip club on January 14. A 33 years old woman named Safiya Satchell walked out of the club after she was not impressed with their service. A police officer was working as the security of the club off duty but still in his police uniform.

He was informed by the club that he must go after the woman and that she will be charged with trespassing if she again comes to the club. The woman had already seated in her Mercedes Suv. The officer went to her and asked her to walk to his vehicle so that he could write her a warning.

However, she said that she didn’t want to walk and instead would drive there. On this, the officer said that either she is going to walk or he would pull her out of the car, to which she asked him to pull her out of the car. The officer did the same.

When the woman tried to resist, he threw her on the ground, and placed his knee on her neck and attacked her twice with the stun gun injuring the woman. The whole incident was recorded by the bodycam of the officer and in a video filmed by the woman’s friend.

Now the Miami officer has been detained and he has been charged with aggravated battery and misconduct. Mayor Oliver Gilbert said that “I’m here to affirm the chief’s decision to terminate him, because the operative word is ‘former’ Miami Gardens police officer, And to let everybody know that some things just aren’t gonna be acceptable.” For more such latest news stay tuned with us.
