The success story of New York in the fight against the coronavirus Pandemic is known to all. There was a time that people from other states frightened at the sight of a vehicle wearing a new york number plate.
But the situation has changed now, with Persistent effort, new york has now become one of the lowest coronavirus reporting States in America.
It took a lot of effort for the authorities and for the people to reach this position. They had to be under lockdown for far more time than any other state residents. But their effort has paid off. Now, they don’t want to put their efforts in vain, that is why every possible measure is being taken so that the state isn’t hit by a second wave of the virus.
One such decision was taken just a few days ago in which governor Cuomo announced that anyone coming from the 8 listed States now reporting the most cases of Coronavirus will need to quarantine himself for 14 days if they come to new york. This was done to ensure that if they carry viruses along with them, they get detected.
Now, to solidify the dictum, a new order has been passed by the governor. According to it, the new york will randomly check flight passengers to see whether they are quarantined or not. And if anyone is found breaking the protocol, a supreme court order will be issued to them to quarantine and even they may face huge fines.
Governor Cuomo said that “Well, we know people who fly in. You fly in here from another state, we know what flight you came in on,” Cuomo said Thursday on CNN’s “New Day.” “And we’ll have inspectors who are randomly looking at the names on the list and calling to follow up to make sure you’re quarantining.” For more such latest news, stay tuned with us.
