This week sees the release of a slew of OTT material, including big-budget blockbusters from a range of genres. There appear to be a plethora of Hindi, South, regional, and foreign films and web series to catch up on across numerous streaming platforms in the second week of March.

This week’s new OTT releases contain several blockbuster titles, like with most previous weeks in 2022. Rather than the normal six to eight new titles, we have more than a dozen new OTT releases this week. 

Furthermore, the material is balanced across platforms, which means you’ll have something fresh to binge on even if you don’t subscribe to many streaming services. We’ve compiled a list of all the exclusive titles slated to hit the OTT world this week that you’ll want to binge-watch in the comfort and safety of your own home.

· Anamika

Streaming Platform: MX Player

Release Date: 10th March 2022

Sunny Leone is poised to make her second web series debut with the action drama ‘Anamika,’ produced by MX Player and ALT Balaji.

Sunny will be seen playing the role of an undercover spy in a furious avatar never seen before. The series, directed by Vikram Bhatt, also stars Sonnalli Seygall, Rahul Dev, Samir Soni, Shehzad Shaikh, and Ayaz Khan insignificant parts.

Streaming Platform: Disney+Hotstar

Release Date: 11th March 2022

After ‘Jagame Thandhiram’ and ‘Atrangi Re,’ this is Dhanush’s third cooperation with an OTT platform. The film’s narrative centers around an investigative journalist who gets in difficulties after publishing a news item that exposes a well-liked politician. Malavika Mohanan plays the female lead in the film directed by TG Thyagarajan.

The Telugu language college romance drama centers around the love story of two college students from different fields of study, and how their tale is complicated by gang fights between medical and engineering students, which leads to a number of unexpected events.

Release Date: 11th March 2022

Sharanya had to leave her little hamlet of Kollenkode to pursue engineering in Thrissur. The film tells the story of her obstacles and tribulations, as well as how she learns to adapt to her surroundings.

After arriving in 2022 by mistake, a time travel pilot partners up with his 11-year-old younger self in an attempt to preserve the future. Ryan Reynolds, Mark Ruffalo, and Jennifer Garner star in the science-fiction thriller.

The comedy program, created by The Office creator Greg Daniel, is due to return on March 11.

· Turning Red

The humorous family film, which will be available on the popular Disney+ network on March 11th, will also be among the new OTT releases this week. The film tells the wonderful narrative of a young girl who is torn between embracing her life’s experiences and being an obedient daughter. And, as if that wasn’t enough, when she gets aroused, she transforms into a large red panda!

Streaming Platform: Amazon Prime Video

Release Date: 10th March 2022

Cops in Mexico chase a serial killer on the prowl with an unusual collection of victims — Instagram influencers and other online stars — in this rampage of a program, an Amazon Prime Video original comedy miniseries. The program is based on Backdoor’s iconic skit in Mexico, which was the most popular sketch on YouTube in Mexico in 2019.

This anthology series created by Egyptian screenwriter Azza Shalaby explores love at large and relationships up close with stories from Egypt, Lebanon, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, and Tunisia. Eight short films by filmmakers Khairy Beshara, Kaouther Ben Hania, Hany Abu-Assad, Amira Diab, Michel Kammoun, Mahmoud Sabbagh, Sandra Bassal, Abdulmohsen Aldhabaan, and Hicham Lasri are included in the broad, genre-spanning compilation.

· Queer Eye Germany

Queer Eye Germany is the first overseas outpost of the famous reality show from the United States. Experts like as Leni Bolt, David Jakobs, Jan-Henrik Scheper-Stuke, Aljosha Muttardi, and Ayan Yuruk help their mentees open the door to a new and better chapter in their lives. Last One Standing is a new Japanese humor talk show hosted by Chidori, a prominent and strong Japanese comedy pair. 24 comedians and talents will compete in discussion fights to go to the next round, where they will star in a gripping play alongside excellent actors. A chunk of the screenplay is left unscripted, and the actors is asked to tell their story in their own terms. It’s like a comedian’s Squid Game. If their jokes do not land in the unscripted sequences, they will be fired from the show.

Streaming Platform: VOOT SELECT

Release Date: 8th March 2022
