The infamous convicted rapist, Harvey Weinstein has been tested negative for coronavirus, after he was placed in isolation. Weinstein’s spokesperson, Juda Engelmayer claimed in an official statement, “We can report that Mr. Weinstein’s fever has dropped but is still being closely monitored. We can also report at this time that he does not have COVID-19”.
Weinstein had allegedly suffered from a sudden spike in temperature, leading to fever, and eventually tested positive for coronavirus. The 68-year-old was then placed in isolation. Weinstein is serving a prison sentence of 23 years on the charges of raping an aspiring actress and also sexually harassing a film production assistant.
He has a plethora of health problems, ranging from spine conditions to diabetes and cardiac intricacies. Although the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention had stated that the chances of contracting the coronavirus more than once, is extremely rare, but still Weinstein is being kept under strict vigilance.
