Hrithik Roshan and Siddharth Anand are reunited on Fighter after working together on Bang Bang and War. The team has vowed to take action to new heights in an aerial-based action movie, Hrithik Roshan Deepika Padukone Fighter which is expected to be done on a Rs 250 crore budget.
It’s the first time Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, two of Bollywood’s biggest stars, have worked together. Pinkvilla has exclusively learned that the much-anticipated film will begin production at the end of August/beginning of September.
“Hrithik Roshan is now filming Vikram Vedha, which is anticipated to conclude by the end of May.” Soon after, he begins filming for Fighter, in which he portrays an Indian Air Force Officer.
Aside from the body language training, Hrithik will also be getting into shape by dropping some additional kilos he gained for Vikram Vedha, according to a person close to the development. Anil Kapoor also plays a significant part in the film.
Deepika would have finished filming for her other obligations before going on to Fighter. “She is now filming Pathan with Sidharth Anand, and he will thereafter begin work on Project K with Prabhas.”
The futuristic epic will be shot in Hyderabad over the course of six to eight months. “Deepika is also anticipated to start work on the remake of The Intern around July,” the insider said.

Siddharth Anand is scheduled to complete Pathan’s post-production work by July and even maintain the film’s initial cut ready before moving on to Fighter. According to the insider, the Fighter team is aiming for the Gandhi Jayanti 2023 release.

Fighter Movie Gets New Release Date
Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, has already clashed with John Abraham’s Tehran and Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan.
However, the film’s release date has been pushed back. Taran Adarsh, a trade expert, rushed to Twitter to announce Fighter’s new release date.

To celebrate the revised release date, Hrithik Roshan also revealed a new motion poster for Fighter. He also tweeted, “SEPTEMBER 28th 2023. #Fighter (sic).”

Deepika and Hrithik Are Back At Work
Aside from Fighter, Deepika Padukone has four more projects in the works. She will appear in Amitabh Bachchan’s The Intern, Prabhas’ Project K, and Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham’s Pathan.
In addition, she has an unnamed project alongside Madhu Mantena. Hrithik Roshan, on the other hand, will be featured in Vikram Vedha with Saif Ali Khan. The film, directed by Pushkar-Gayatri, is set to be released on September 30, 2022.
‘Fighter’ would be the first aerial action franchise in India. Anil Kapoor, who really stars in the film, announced the release date on his social media account. “Get ready to see India’s first aerial action franchise, Fighter hit theatres on September 28, 2023,” Anil said on his Facebook page.
Roshan will play the part of an ace Indian Air Force pilot in the film. Siddharth Anand will helm the film, which will be produced by Ajit Andhare, Mamta Anand, Ramon Chibb, and Anku Pande.
