With the 2022 IPL season, the IPL fulfilled its promise again, bringing to light a plethora of promising pacers, some of whom were still in their infancy, and a possible India captain in Hardik Pandya.

Hardik Pandya was the talk of Ahmedabad after leading Gujarat Titans to their first-ever IPL victory. The Titans defeated the Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets in front of a sold-out Narendra Modi stadium. To honor Hardik’s skill with the bat and ball, he was named man of the game.  – The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a prize fund of Rs 1.25 crore for ground staff at six IPL 2022 venues.

“Any squad in the world could learn a lot from this one. If you’re able to work together and form a strong team, you’ll be able to achieve great things. Playing proper bowling is a hobby of mine and that of Ashu pa. Hardik noted during the post-match presentation that even while batsmen can make contributions, “It’s a batter’s game, but bowlers win games.” Also, check out Umran Malik’s work. Brett Lee is an outstanding bowler who has made “technical improvements” that have allowed him to improve his speed even further.

At the end of his first entire season with Hyderabad, Umran Malik drew worldwide acclaim for his ability to run at speeds of more than 150 kph with ease.

A new batch of pacers — some raw, some refined — and a prospective India captain in the form of Hardik Pandya emerged from the IPL’s 2022 season, proving once again that the slogan “Where talent meets opportunity” is true.

Indian selectors had to take notice of Hyderabad’s Umran Malik’s ability to register speeds of more than 150 kmph and Mohsin Khan’s lethal combination of pace and accuracy for Lucknow’s new franchise.

While Mukesh Choudhary and Simarjeet Singh (both of Chennai Super Kings), Yash Dayal (Gujarat Titans), and Kuldeep Sen (of Rajasthan Royals) starred in the world’s most popular T20 league, India’s status as a fast-bowling superpower was further cemented.

In addition, several young players had a clear path to the majors. Mumbai Indians pitcher Tilak Varma, hailed by their skipper Rohit Sharma as “India material,” was one of those players.

Jitesh Sharma, a wicketkeeper-batsman for Punjab Kings, was praised by India legend Virender Sehwag for his heroics. While his club failed to go to the playoffs for the second year in a row, he took advantage of the opportunity.

While some of the other uncapped batters may not have been new to the IPL, they had a remarkable season, like Hyderabad’s Rahul Tripathi and Abhishek Sharma.

Makes a case for captaincy in the future of India

IPL raised significant doubts about the tremendous all-physical rounder’s condition. Still, by the end of the tournament, he had proven himself to be a capable leader who could one day command India.

Since India’s early withdrawal from the T20 World Cup last year, Hardik has faced criticism over his health and inability with bowling frequently. Hardik has silenced all his critics.

Batting at number four was his favorite position, and he excelled when called upon to roll his arm over, as he did in the IPL final with a game-winning session.
