Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Andrew Toles has been jailed on trespassing charges and he was in jail as of Saturday.
He was detained by the sheriff in Florida. Actually, Toles was found sleeping at the back of a FedEx building. He was asked to move several times and was also threatened that if he did not move, he would be arrested.
But he chose not to move. So, he was arrested and jailed. Later, it turned out that he is actually homeless. He has been in jail for a $500 bond.
Although the bond is priced pretty low, he is still in jail. His team spokesperson refused to give any comment on the issue.
Toles is a very talented player but has some tragedies. He didn’t play most of 2019 due to some personal reasons.
He didn’t play most of 2018 because he tore one of his knee ligaments. He was signed by the Dodgers in 2016. Before that, he was playing for Tampa Bay. He has been suffering from anxiety since that time.
