New York ready to move into phase 2 of reopening, up to 3,00,000 people expected to return to work.

New York City was the worst city in entire America. The number of cases it was witnessing every single was Insane. It was also reporting more deaths per day than any other city. There was a time When the city hospitals were almost full with COVID-19 cases. That was the reason, the city was slower in reopening than most other cities.

However, with proper orders and decisions, the city was able to come forth; it’s a dark phase and now the daily new cases in the city are far lesser than before. That allowed the government to push the city in phase 1 of reopening. However, many things were restricted to reopen in this phase.

The business owners in the city were not happy at all with the prolonged lockdown and in some places, they even organized protests to let them reopen. However, now the government has approved the phase 2 of reopening since Monday.

The economy of the city was suffering heavily and more and more people were going unemployed. That’s the reason the city had to move further in reopening.

With phase 2 of reopening, it is expected that somewhere between 1,50,000 to 3,00,000 people will get work again. Now, we hope that the new york city can again be seen in its full form and glory just as before.

One pizza shop owner said that “Hopefully, Phase 2 will be a little bit better for us as business owners. We try to make people go out, but at the same time, we just want to protect them from the virus,” For more such latest news, stay tuned with us.
