What if Santa’s elves were more than simply adorable and faithful employees? That is the question posed by Netflix’s new Christmas series.
Elves add a touch of gloom and mystery to the otherwise joyous season, and it is not what you would anticipate from a Christmas storey.
The six-episode Danish series is set around the Christmas season, but it will not be the most joyous of occasions based on the concept.
Here’s all you need to understand about Netflix’s Elves series.
The series will air on November 28, 2021.

The show follows a family of four who travels to a rural Danish island for the holidays in the hopes of bonding. They quickly learn that the island is not as idyllic as they had thought. They encounter a very devout group who have a horrible secret: they are not the only species in this area.
The title of the show gives you a good indication of what these animals are like. The elves in issue, however, are savage and violent, as the family will discover firsthand.
The first season covers the fallout from the family’s youngest discovering and taking home a newborn Elf, which sparks a deadly fight against the species.
