As per the latest report, a retired US Air Force lieutenant colonel was captured through a photograph showing him carrying zip-tie handcuffs inside the Capitol during the Capitol riot that happened last week.

The retired personal identified as Larry Brock means to take hostages. For what he actually meant was to kidnap, restrain, perhaps execute members of the U.S. government,” says the Assistant U.S. Attorney Jay Weimer.

Jay Weimer who was present at Thursday’s hearing argued that Brock should be detained.

He read a social media post from Brock posted on the day of the Capitol siege, which reads: “Patriots on the Capitol. Patriots storming. Men with guns need to shoot their way in.”

Brock, who is a 53-year-old father of three was arrested by the federals this Sunday for the charges of knowingly entering or remaining in a restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, and violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.

Previously, he told the media that he found zip-tie handcuffs on the floor and it intended to turn them over to the police.

Brock’s case lawyer, Brook Antonio || has asked the FBI agent regarding the possibility for his client to pick up the cuffs. The FBI agent has acknowledged the possibility.

For now, further court proceedings are going on for the case! We will be refreshing you with more in the future.
