Texas is continuously witnessing a rise in daily COVID-19 cases. The cases are increasing in multi-folds and there is no fixed way to follow.
While many blame the early upliftment of lockdown as the reason for the recent outbreak, many think that irresponsible people are equally liable for such situations.
Recently, one more such incident was reported from the state of Texas.
Texas has many Starbucks stores, the most famous coffee chain in the US. Texas has made it mandatory for the customers to wear a mask in order to buy something. It has done so following the orders of CDPC and State authorities.
But many people do not care about such preventive measures. On Saturday morning, a person came to the Starbucks Barista store and asked for a coffee.
He wasn’t wearing a mask, so he was refused and suggested to first buy a mask. Upon this, the man punched an unidentified employee of the coffee shop.
Later, police got the info and they caught the person just a few blocks away. He has been charged with assault and has also been sent for mental health assessment. Police think that he is homeless too.
The coffee shop released an official statement in which it said that
“We are saddened by this situation and relieved that the partner is doing well.
We want everyone to feel welcome in our stores, We respectfully request customers follow social distancing and safety protocols recommended by public health officials, including wearing a facial covering when visiting our stores.” For more such latest news stay tuned with us.
