The wife of the Queens wannabe Proud Boy was busted with a cache of weapons this week after a connection for allegedly making online threats related to the US Capitol riot was found in her post where she shared that she is getting divorced.
Joni Florea shared that she was ‘devastated’ after she learned of the accusations against her husband, Eduard Florea who was recently arrested for Weapon charges by the police.
“Just hearing some of the details … is the reason why I’m divorcing him,” she said in a phone call Thursday.
Joni shared about the experiences she faced with Joni during her marriage life. She described her husband Eduard as an ‘always been an angry man’ and ‘I believe that he plotted to do this.’
“The only thing I was concerned about was my children,” she said. “Eduard only cared about the Proud Boys.”
Prosecutors allegedly claim that the 40-year-old software engineer shared a plot about sending an armed caravan to the Capitol and also threatened the life of Sen.-elect Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.) hours before the riot held on the 6th of January.
However, reports say that he didn’t attend the DC siege, so is not charged with participating in the violence at the Capitol or with making an online threat.
However, Joni told Eduard that she really wanted to go to the riot that day, and even she dressed up in an Army hat for the riot as well.
With this on Tuesday FBI officials arrived down the couple’s quiet street in Middle Village to take Eduard into custody.
As per the FBI agents, they have seized over 1,000 rounds of rifle ammunition, two dozen shotgun rounds and around 75 military-style combat knives, and even two hatchets and two swords from the home.
However, after the seizure, Joni declined to comment on whether she was knowing about her husband’s armory or not.
Joni and Eduard got married in 2014 and now they are the parents of their two young children.
